Is "Frost Bank" safe in this turbulent economy?

I just moved to San Antonio Texas.
I need to open an account here as I have got a job at Medical Center.
Nearest bank to my apartment is "Frost Bank" which is a local bank in Texas.I'm not sure how safe this
Hello Friend. I understand your concerns. I also work in financial industry. You would first make sure that Frost bank is FDIC insured. FDIC will gurantee your deposits up to $250,000. (It is now unlimited amount until Dec. 2010)
